Split Screens & beyond

#Split screen photography is not supposed to be considered distorted stories but can be a conjunction with what you want to express, just like poetry or dreamy thought.

Being a photographer, sometimes you feel jealous of contemporary artists who can show their palate of introverted stories or showcase the hardest imagination of life.

Through Split screen technique, you can create wonders & showcase beyond the capacity of an individual image.

Being stuck at home during this never-ending period of #lockdown, made me anxious like never before and, at the same time more focused on my childhood dreams.

The split screens photography being a hardest part when it comes to the execution part, visualizing the counterparts are bit tricky when you make the outcome to be connected with you & your audiences.

The visualization on this type of photography came into my mind post seeing one of my favorite splitting storyteller respected #ugurgallen, a digital artist from Istanbul whose work on open shot split screen has been unparalleled so far.

The disclaimer to this category (for me!) is that the two folded parts could also have been in color, but myself couldn’t find any matches due to different color scales which might influence over the story telling part.

So, here are some of my split screen imaginations as under:

1. The Cacophony inside

We all are tied with our bindings, which are not so easy to leave behind and getting a way out from the liabilities. We all are confined like the character in "the Truman show". Praying towards humanity makes you wiser enough to see what's beyond the wall of responsibility!

2. The inner peace

It's an assumption that we could find the peace inside while enjoying the "me time". Whatever be the way, self‑talking is like extending your capabilities like the fog in the mountains & the soul towards the joy of life.

3. The Generosity

Be the person talking to would be like feeling the fresh air coming from the sweet corner of life & could be like having an endless discussion.

One of my sweet corners in #homesweethome indulging never ending daydreams & the welcoming gesture of a man during my trek to #Nandikund are put together in a single frame as a split screen photography.

4. Knocking on heaven's door

Consider a trek to the mountains is like diminish the past tense and start praying to the life like never before.

5. The beauty of the Life cycle

Remember the sweet flute sounds in the afternoon nap, which had made your mind fly like a bee? Yes, I still remember while freezing down all my responsibilities for a moment.

6. Being the better half

Down the line in my mind, I am consciously the better half of your joyous moment in life.

7. The Breeze of joy

Down the line in my mind, I am consciously the better half of your joyous moment in life.

8. Work is like serving the God

Working selflessly till the end of your life is like serving God in a better way. Things to be remembered that the work is the worship of God.

9. ঘরে ফেরার পালা

A Bengali phrase which means it could be a bit of saddened & joyous at the same time when we consider a comeback to our home after a new experience of life outside the four walls of confinement.

I couldn’t find any other fitted one-word expression than the Bengali phrase!

10. The juxtapositions of life.

Well, it's bit tricky to reconcile the facts together that happened at different stages & different times, but more you grow your age and get wiser, the God gives you a clearer picture of the juxtapositions of life.

11. The connection between the unknown souls

Irrespective of having critical times & different mental states, praying to an Almighty could grab your senses up in a fine morning where there are other unknown souls would wait for you to connect to solve them. So, be sensitive & wise, Life will go easy and stress free.

12. Merging the way of Life

The chaotic circumstances would always converge with the inner peace of mind down the line in the journey of life.

It would always make sense if you could look back to your chosen journey with a free mind!
